Michael Wewer photographs wild spaces with the eye of a passionate conservationist. A student under the legendary Michael Frome, who first urged him to teach, he has developed and taught courses in environmental photography and human impacts at Western Washington University, and for fifteen years has brought students from over 20 countries into the wild areas of the Pacific Northwest to share the wonder of the natural world and to impart a passion for wilderness protection and photography.
